There is nothing more the doctors can do for Paxten. Tomorrow morning, they'll leave the hospital for the last time and head to Disney World, and then they'll have a big party for him when they get back
God bless them for having the courage to celebrate life in such a wonderful way.
I've had Michael for 33 years; they've had their son for just 3.
I'm in Cary at Michael's tonight. He's having a so-so day. He had pain tonight and as he was sitting doubled over, he said, "This is not fun."
He has a doctor's appointment in the morning. We'll see how much weight he has gained, and whether he wants to continue treatment. This is not fun.
